I talked to Chuck!

I have a job interview next week. It's a good news, bad news situation.

The good news: I'm a perfect fit for it. The bad news: It's in Austin. Not that there's anything wrong with Austin - I think that, in the long run, I'd rather live there than here. But I have a semi-unsaleable house, a geriatric dog, and a very ill mother to tend to (although she encouraged me to do the interview).

I think I'll go ahead and do the interview. It'll get me out of town for a day or two if nothing else.
