my kind of retro

Although I have nothing against comfortable clothes, I sometimes wonder why it's become increasingly difficult to buy basic lingerie items, like slips. They seem to be going the same way as hosiery, as it's now socially acceptable to show up at the office with bare legs. And my latest shopping expeditions to lingerie departments turned up nothing but what are now called "control garments". I could probably use a little control, but at the office I can't be arsed to go this way.

However, not all is lost. I turned up a rather magnificent slip, or what's sometimes called a "chemise", at a retro lingerie site called Secrets in Lace:

The site also has some Dita Von Teese-inspired hosiery I'm lusting after. As soon as I have the bimmer repaired, I'll be bock.
